Residential Roofing Built on Proof, Clarity, and Trust
Whether you are planning a new roof, replacing an aging system, or deciding between repair and replacement, we help you understand your options clearly so you can make a confident decision.
Roofing Systems
Expert Installation for Every Residential Roofing Type
We install and maintain every major roofing system used in Florida homes. Each project includes a thorough inspection, clear documentation, and manufacturer-backed warranty coverage.
Architectural Shingle Roofing
Florida's most popular residential roofing choice. Premium architectural shingles offer excellent wind resistance (up to 130 mph), a wide range of colors and styles, and manufacturer warranties up to lifetime coverage.
Standing Seam Metal Roofing
The premium choice for Florida homeowners who want maximum durability and energy efficiency. Standing seam metal roofs last 50+ years, reflect solar heat, and withstand the strongest hurricane winds.
Concrete & Clay Tile Roofing
Classic Florida aesthetics with exceptional durability. Tile roofing systems are ideal for Mediterranean, Spanish, and contemporary Florida home styles, offering beauty and performance for decades.
Wind Mitigation & Upgrades
Strengthen your roof against hurricanes and may qualify you for insurance premium reductions. Our wind mitigation inspections and upgrades protect your home and your budget.
Insurance premium reductions vary by insurer and policy. A wind mitigation inspection documents your home's features but does not guarantee specific savings.
Modern Roofing Technology
Alron uses a fully engineered, multi-layer roofing system designed for maximum durability, wind resistance, and long-term protection. Every layer matters — and we install each one to meet or exceed Florida building code and insurance standards.

Layer 1: Roof Framing / Rafters & Trusses
The wood framing — rafters and trusses — forms the structural skeleton of your entire roof. Alron inspects every rafter and truss for rot, insect damage, and hurricane strap connections before any new roofing material is installed.
Florida code requires hurricane straps at every rafter-to-wall-plate connection. Alron verifies all connections and documents them for your wind mitigation report.
Layer 2: Roof Decking / Wood Sheathing
Plywood or OSB sheathing nailed directly to the rafters creates the solid base for every layer above it. Alron inspects, replaces, and reinforces damaged or rotted decking to ensure a code-compliant foundation.
Florida building code requires a minimum 7/16" OSB or 15/32" plywood. Alron inspects every square foot before installation begins.
Layer 3: Leak Barrier / Ice & Water Shield
A self-adhering waterproof membrane applied at all vulnerable areas — valleys, eaves, rakes, and penetrations. This layer stops wind-driven rain from infiltrating even if shingles are lifted during a hurricane.
Required by Florida code at all eaves and valleys. Alron installs it 6" up from every penetration and 18" past the interior wall line.
Layer 4: Synthetic Underlayment
A premium synthetic felt underlayment installed over the entire roof deck. Far superior to old-style #15 felt — it resists tearing, repels moisture, and provides a secondary weather barrier if shingles are ever compromised.
Alron uses synthetic underlayment rated for 180-day UV exposure, giving you protection even during extended construction delays or storm recovery.
Layer 5: Starter Shingles / Drip Edge
Starter shingles create a factory-sealed perimeter at every eave and rake. Combined with metal drip edge flashing, they prevent wind uplift at the most vulnerable edges and direct water away from the fascia.
Improper starter installation is the #1 cause of wind damage claims in Florida. Alron uses manufacturer-matched starters on every project.
Layer 6: Primary Roofing Layer
The outermost layer — architectural shingles, metal panels, or tile — engineered to withstand Florida's hurricane-force winds, UV radiation, and heavy rainfall. Every product Alron installs carries a manufacturer warranty.
Alron installs products rated for 130+ mph wind resistance. We're approved installers for GAF, Owens Corning, and CertainTeed, qualifying you for enhanced warranty coverage.
Layer 7: Ridge Cap Shingles
Ridge cap shingles seal the peak of the roof where two slopes meet — the most wind-vulnerable point on any home. Proper ridge cap installation also allows hot attic air to exhaust, keeping your home cooler and extending shingle life.
Alron uses hip-and-ridge cap shingles rated to match the primary shingle wind warranty. Ridge caps are hand-nailed and sealed for maximum uplift resistance.

Every Alron roof is built with all seven layers installed to manufacturer specifications and Florida building code. No shortcuts.
